Final Checks Makeup and Hair Academy are partnership with SCL Education for our level 3 BTEC study programme. Supporting young people aged 16-18 not currently in education, training or employment to train and progress in the TV, Film and Fashion Industry.

BAFTA Scholarship 18yrs+

Final Checks Academy has been endorsed by the BAFTA’s. OUr students are now able to apply for a BAFTA’s Scholarship’s for training on our Level 3 BTEC Certificate in Production Arts (Makeup Pathway)

To be eligible for the bursary which is up to a maximum of £10,000. You first need to be offered a place on our courses.

ScreenSkills Bursaries 18yrs+

As a ScreenSkills accredited Academy students are able to apply for ScreenSkills Bursary towards Tuition Fees. The ScreenSkills bursary is a cash grant designed to remove some of the practical barriers to making progress in the screen industries. Bursaries pay for training or other costs associated with skills development. ScreenSkills bursaries are designed to provide financial assistance to those looking to enter, progress in, return to, or transfer into the screen industries.

Eligibility – you can apply for a bursary if you are:

• Eligible to work in the UK (you may be asked to prove this)
• Have a UK bank account (you will be asked to prove this)
• Are 18 years old or above (you may be asked to prove this)
• Currently work in the UK screen industries, or I can demonstrate my intention to work in the UK screen industries (you will be asked to prove this)

Please be aware applications will be prioritised based on; a clear demonstration of ambition to work in the UK screen industries long-term, course availability and number of spaces open, applying for skills gap or shortage areas.

Final Checks Makeup and Hair Academy Interest Free Payment Plan In some instances, we will be able to assist you by offering interest free payment plans, with £500 deposit fee due prior to the start of the course and the remaining balance divided into monthly or 4 monthly instalment payments for year 1 and year 2.
